MOVE OUT DETAILS
The end of your lease term is near and we hope your move goes as smoothly as possible.
We have every intention of returning your security deposit as long as you have fulfilled your agreement with us.
Please be certain to do the following things:
Leave electricity on through the duration of your lease period, even if you plan to move early.
Remove all furniture and personal items from rooms, closets, cabinets
Completely clean out refrigerator and freezer
Discard all unwanted items for trash —avoid piles of debris in front of your residence on moving day.
Please discard in dumpster at your complex or bring to dumpster at the office parking lot.
Replace ALL burned out light bulbs in your unit
Replace ALL stove top drip pans, please note the brand of your stove before you replace
Leave ALL keys in a kitchen drawer of your unit and leave unit unlocked
Email email@example.com with your move out date
Also email firstname.lastname@example.org when you are fully vacated and all above items are complete.
FAILURE TO DO ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL AFFECT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUND.
Costs for cleaning will be charged against your security deposit. You will be provided with an itemized list if any additional charges are incurred.
ALL of our units are professionally cleaned between tenants. There is no need to clean the unit yourself. Below are the basic fees from last year, but may increase based on the condition of your unit and/or current costs for this year. If your unit/home does not have carpet, you will not be charged for carpet cleaning.
1 BD: $115 cleaning, $70 carpet cleaning
2 BD: $135 cleaning, $100 carpet cleaning
3 BD: $150 cleaning, $130 carpet cleaning
4 BD HOUSE: $200 cleaning, $145 carpet cleaning
We do not refund security deposits until all invoices for cleaning have been submitted to us- this typically takes 4-6 weeks.
